Healthland Releases Solution to Help Community Hospitals Improve Patient Care & Meet Core Measures

Healthland announces its new Healthland Analytics solution. Developed in partnership with Performance Management Institute (PMI), Healthland Analytics extracts relevant data from the Healthland Financial System solutions and other sources and presents snapshots of financial, operational and clinical performance. Healthland Analytics enables automatic flow of Core Measure data – standards established by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The new solution also provides tools for surveys, real-time analysis and reporting and automates and supports quality improvement programs.

AMA and Ingenix Work Together to Help Physicians Adopt and Implement EHR

Ingenix and the American Medical Association (AMA) are working together to help physicians use health IT systems to enhance patient care, simplify administration and improve clinical efficiency.

 

As part of this collaboration, the AMA has selected Ingenix CareTracker as the first electronic health records (EHR) system offered through the AMA’s new online health information solutions platform for physicians. The AMA platform will enable physicians to assess and meet their clinical and practice needs. It will provide physicians access to information, products and services with a single, secure sign-on.

 

The AMA platform, which will launch nationwide later this year, is currently being beta tested in Michigan in collaboration with the Michigan State Medical Society.

NextGen Healthcare Expands Its Partnership with Ohio State Medical Association

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. announced that the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) has expanded its preferred partner agreement with the company.

 

Through this agreement, OSMA members – which include more than 20,000 Ohio physicians, residents, medical students and practice managers – will be offered preferred pricing for NextGen Practice Management and NextGenSM Practice Solutions. Since 2008, NextGen EHR has been offered to OSMA members through the organization’s EHR Standards of Excellence Program.
